MDH professors and master’s students participate in X Esocite

Five professors and four master's students from the Master's Program in Human Development at the University of Taubaté participated, in the days 25, 26 e 27 October 2023 do X ESOCITE, Biannual symposium organized by the Brazilian Association of Social Studies of Sciences and Technologies (ESOCITE-BR). The event was held at the Federal University of Alagoas-UFAL, in the city of Maceió.

The theme of this edition of the event was: “Science in dark times: decolonizing thought and territorializing disputes”. For this year's Symposium, a GT-Working Group was proposed and approved, entitled: “Technologies and innovations: culture, know, artifacts and sustainability”, coordinated by MDH professors: André Luiz da Silva, Suzana Lopes Salgado Ribeiro and Rachel Duarte Abdala, in partnership with Prof.. Dr. Carlos Alberto Maximum pepper (UNIFEI) and Prof. Dr. Adimilson Renato da Silva (ifto). In addition to these teachers, Prof.. Drag. Elisa Maria Andrade Brisola and the Teacher. Drag. Mirian Cristina de Moura Garrido also participated in the event, presenting works together with their respective students.

This initiative was relevant to establish and strengthen partnerships in the interdisciplinary area with teachers and programs linked to the Chamber of Social Sciences in the Interdisciplinary area, to which the MDH is also linked.
