Two professors from the Postgraduate Program in Human Development (PPGDH) the University of Taubaté, the coordinator and Prof. Dra Rachel Duarte Abdala and Prof. Dra. Elisa Brisola gave the lecture “History of Women’s Struggle for Rights”, at 9:30 am last Wednesday, day 11 March, at an event promoted by the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) “Joaquim Rodrigues da Costa” – CRAS Três Marias, Basic Social Protection of the Municipal Secretariat for Development and Social Inclusion.
The lecture is part of the Women's Month Debate Cycle composed of 4 meetings with a program dedicated to female protagonism as a preventive action against violence against women. In the lecture, the teachers sought to articulate a biographical account and the historical overview of women's achievements in our society, such as the right to vote,, professional practice and the affirmation of female power and the fight against various forms of violence against women.
