The awards at the XIV International Congress of Science, Technology and Development-CICTED, academic-scientific event held by the University of Taubaté between the days 22 e 24 October 2025 happened on the day 16 from December.
CICTED is held annually by the University of Taubaté and follows the theme of National Science and Technology Week (Snct) proposed by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations. The editing of 2025 of CICTED had as its central theme: “Planet Water: oceanic culture to face climate change in my territory”.
Works by PPGDH teachers and students were awarded in six of the twelve categories that make up the Congress.
In the Postgraduate Exhibition-MPG category, the work: “Active methodologies in the discipline: experience applied to a dental clinic: pregnant women, children, teenagers, adults and the elderly”, was awarded third place and had the participation of two PPGDH teachers: Mariana Aranha de Souza and Juliana Marcondes Bussollotti, who is the President of the event.
At the Research Projects Exhibition-MPP, the work supervised by Prof. Luciana de Oliveira Rocha Magalhães, professor at PPGDH, entitled: “Meanings of the management team regarding special-inclusive education: formation of an inclusive culture in the school environment”, was awarded third place.
From the perspective of the link with graduation, the Scientific Initiation work guided by Profa. Mirian Cristina de Moura Garrido, entitled; “Indigenous trajectories: history and erasure of original peoples in the metropolitan region of the Paraíba valley and north coast”, and carried out by the student of the Undergraduate Course in History, Alan Cunha Ferreira, received the second place award at the Scientific Initiation Meeting-ENIC.
Another award-winning work was that of Profa. Wendry Maria Paixão Pereira, who received second place in the SEDUNI-University Teaching Seminar. The work dealt with the topic; “Pedagogical approach in teaching basic care for physiotherapy training”
Regarding the connection between research and university extension, at SEMEX-Extension Seminar the work “Legal education and culture of peace: extension actions to combat bullying in public schools” received the third place award and is carried out by Daniel Estefano Santos, PPGDH student.
In addition to the award for the best works at XIV CICTED, outstanding monitors were also awarded and received tribute. Monitors and monitors, who are also university and postgraduate students and worked in the organization and evaluation of the work, were able to end this cycle by receiving due recognition. Among those honored is PPGDH master's student Rafael Nathan Capucho. During CICTED, the team of around more than 100 volunteer monitors was organized and guided by Profa. Drag. Rachel Duarte Abdala, coordinator of the PPGDH and responsible for this important activity in the organization and implementation of CICTED for almost twenty years.
