A group of public school students participated in a scientific formation in the Atlantic Forest of the Santa Virginia Center in 2024, going through all the stages of the scientific method. The activity was organized by Liege Ferlin dos Santos of SBN Atlantic Mata and Professor Júlio Cesar Voltolini, of the Graduate Program in Human Development-Unitau, But it was taught by the graduates of the Unitau Biology course, Leticia Sanches Jerônimo and Julia Santos Pereira de Oliveira. School students learned to collect data on the field, analyze data, Write the results, they retained with the two minister about the presence of women in society and presented the projects at the International Congress of Science, Technology and Development, UNITAU. Next year students will start a science club for women with new research projects, now in Serra da Mantiqueira.
