The Master's program in Human Development and Education held on 20 November 2017 the International Conference on Education and Human Development with the theme: "Social assistance in focus", taught by Prof.. Dr. Eduard Patrakov. The teacher is Russian, and is linked to the Federal University of Ural, in Russia.

The conference was mediated by Professor. Drag. Suzana Lopes Salgado Ribeiro and was simultaneously translated by Prof.. Ma. Ana Beatriz Rodrigues Pelógia, Advisor to the Dean of Extension with respect to international relations sector of Unitau.

The event represented a significant rapprochement between the teacher and the Master Program, with a view to the possibility of joint to carry out a joint project.
