UNITAU professor launches book at international congress

This Wednesday, day 24 of February, Prof. Drag. Rachel Duarte Abdala will launch the book school photographs; practices of the gaze and representations in the photo albums of Escola Caetano de Campos at the XII Luso-Brazilian Congress on the History of Education. The event is held alternately between Brazil and Portugal and this year will be held in Cuiabá, by the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), and performed remotely, addressing the general theme: “Alterities and inequalities in educational practices”.

Prof.. Rachel Duarte Abdala is a professor at the History course at UNITAU and at the Master's Program in Human Development-UNITAU, in which she also acts as deputy coordinator and at UNITAU she also works as a collaborating teacher of the Professional Master's Program in Education. The work is the result of her doctoral research carried out at the University of São Paulo and consolidates her trajectory as a researcher since her scientific initiation, funded by FAPESP, in the area of ​​History of Education on the theme of school photography. In the theses and dissertations repository of the University of São Paulo, the thesis has already surpassed the mark of 14 thousand downloads.

The Book Launch will take place on the day 24 of February, at 6:30 pm with a solemn opening in the main room (link: https://bit.ly/sala_principal) with the presence of all authors who will present their works.
