Every year, at the beginning of the semesters, The University of Taubaté promotes Profoco (Continuing Training Program) which consists of a series of actions and projects that promote, effectively, the improvement of the quality of teaching of the University of Taubaté from the valorization of teachers who work in the institution. This year, 2023, Profoco's activities were held on January 31, 1 e 2 of February, face -to -face management and business (GEN). The activities were organized two formative trails with the objective of fostering the debate, reflection and exchange of ideas about teaching and learning in the current context of higher education. This edition of Profoco had the coordination of Profa. Drag. Suzana Lopes Salgado Ribeiro, professor of the Master's Program in Human Development.
In day 2 February was carried out activity conducted by. André Luiz da Silva, professor and deputy coordinator of MDH, and by Professor. Juliana Marcondes Bussolotti, MDH teacher, on affirmative policies. The proposal was to discuss ways of access and permanence of people at the university. The activity addressed affirmative actions, that are policies that promote the reduction of material or substantial inequality, historically accumulated on social minorities. As a concrete result, Participants were invited to participate in the collective construction of a letter of principles and proposals for the committee created by Unitau to coordinate the formulation of affirmative policies within the institution.
To participate in the activity and talk about affirmative policies, people were invited who promote reflections and who work in promoting these policies in Vale do Paraíba: One Mariano, Claudinei Correa, Zenaide Brito, Cidinha Pedroso, Monique Godoy and Pedro Brígido. The latter, MDH Master.
