MDH professors coordinate GT at CONINTER

Professors André Luiz da Silva, Rachel Abdala and Suzana Ribeiro coordinated the Working Group “Culture and Interdisciplinarity: (of the)wraps your interfaces, dynamics and differences”, at the XII CONINTER – International Interdisciplinary Congress in Social and Humanities, carried out between the days 27 November and 01 from December. A GT 07 was concerned with the production of knowledge in interdisciplinarity, understanding uses and abuses of the concept in the current academic field, still very much marked by a rational and instrumentalizing logic that does not take into account subjectivities and other actions and knowledge. Therefore, we call for dialogue with research from different areas, to explore the debate, on policy themes, two knowledges, of doing, of representations, of stories, among other dimensions of culture to imagine ways (of the)involvements – location, regional, national or global - that articulate interdisciplinary reflections, criticisms and alternatives to the model of social organization based on competition, competition and victory of some over many.

Given the strike of the day 28, GT activities were transferred to a remote meeting, so that the work was presented and discussed via the Zoom platform.
