
A relaxed night marked the inaugural class of Master in Human Development Unitau. The ceremony was special, because it also celebrated the 15 years of this postgraduate degree. Check out the photos of the event here.
Students from previous classes, already titled masters and doctors attended to honor. Among them, is the prof. Dr. Daniel Santos, Today Music Teacher, who performed during the ceremony.
“It was in the master's degree that I started conducting my research on an important composer of Taubaté. And the preparation was very useful, so that I later continued to my doctorate at USP ”, Explain.

The MDH coordinator, prof. Drag. Rachel Duarte Abdala, celebrated the brand of 15 years of the program. It also projects a future of much research and learning.

currently, The course has 65 enrolled students, of the classes of 2023 e 2024, and the event welcomed the new members of the 2025, more 25 Postgraduate Students.
Among the authorities who participated in the ceremony were the Secretary of Education of Taubaté, Hélcio Santos, and Unitau's Dean of Research and Graduate, prof. Drag. Monica Franchi Carniello.
“We are a municipal public institution committed to social transformation and education. In essence, in its genesis, also has the commitment to social transformation. You will see this in research and knowledge ”, said the teacher.
The inaugural class had as its theme “The works and the days: The trajectory of the Master in Human Development ”and was taught by Profa. Drag. Elisa Maria Andrade Brisola, course teacher since its creation in 2010 that is involved in the entire conceptual basis of the program.
After the inaugural class, Also presented was the new logo of the Master in Human Development Unitau, a way of showing that the program is tuned with new trends and ready to adapt, forming new teachers and researchers.

Human development is the purpose of research and graduate study in Human Development. The course shows the view that man is a being active in their relations in different environments, like family, the work, school and community. The human being participates in the inter-relations in various places and can also influence the immediate context of environments in which is not active and this directly. The environments are immersed in the macro system, which corresponds to global standards ideologies, of beliefs, forms of government and cultures present in daily life.
