The LGBTQIAPN+ community of Taubaté, in partnership with UNITAU and the Extension Project “Suicide Prevention: Sharing paths”, will be held on the days 26 e 27/05 the 2nd Taubaté Sexual and Gender Diversity Forum.
In its second edition, the event will have as its central theme “Educating for diversity” and will take place on the premises of the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at UNITAU.
At this event we will have our Human Development Master's Professor Angela Michele and Lindamar Faerman coordinating the participation of the Extension Project, together with our students and former students, Pedro Brigido, Lilian Macri e Eduardo Mimessi.
The event aims to dialogue and debate education in different areas of the lives of the LGBTQIAPN+ population, like formal education, the health, the family and the role of the State in promoting diversity and respect.
Diversity is a characteristic of human beings: We are all different and that is our beauty! That's why we need an education that focuses on diversity in several aspects. It is about promoting respect for the different forms of human being, making society a safe and inclusive environment, that can offer everyone the necessary care for human development and to build safer cities.
The 2nd Forum will feature lectures and round tables, as can be seen in the schedule below.
Besides that, We will feature various artistic presentations and exhibitions by local artists. It's unmissable! The invitation to participate is hereby!
